- I am a band director at five private schools in Kankakee. Music is a big part of my life, but knitting and crafting are right up there too. I own a ridiculous stash of yarn, which I am slowly using... and replacing with better yarn... I tend to knit and crochet a lot, in class, out of class, while watching tv, while driving, pretty much constantly. I have been involved with crochet romantically for 15 years, and involved with knitting for 11 years. They sometimes get jealous of each other. I think its funny. Along with knitting and crocheting, I quilt, spin (drop spindle) and design patterns!!

my newest creations
the second picture has better color quality, but i still think it looks cute,
$20 for the hat but the brothers not for sale. lol
I just thought this was the cutest thing that i have ever seen in my life, my cat Callie decided that she would fall in love with the duck that i just finished and not let it go.
Sad thing though, id love to keep the duck for the cat to love... but its gotta leave and go as a present for my bros girlfriend...
Look at the affection though!!! i just thought it was hilarious!
As the duck is going to my brother, it is not for sale, but for all you knitters, it was fun to make and very hard to let go!

so i just sent money out to purchase a box of metal clasps and certain jewlery findings, so ill be able to start up again with my jewlery making, so ill be selling some jewlery as soon as im done with that. also i finished the stuffed duck finally, but sadly i dont get to keep it, gotta give it to my bros girlfriend. so thats a bunch of work down the drain. oh well. and i also finished a hat, so thatll be up for sale soon. im going to finish my "STOP RACISM" purse soon, and then my mothers afghan. and of course all the little projects.

All my works are for sale, (unless already sold!)
I used the idea of a friendship scarf that I read of a while ago. All my scrap yarn went into it, and truthfully I love it to pieces! $20
I finished this scarf a while ago.
$20, or ill take a trade as well!!!
I still have to find the perfect lining to put in this purse, but once its done it'll be $25.
I still have a bunch of FO's but ive been a lil slow on taking the pics, but coming up soon is my sweater shrug, fairy purse, and im still procrastinating on that ducky, i am clueless as how to sew on the head and arms!!! ill get it done soon.
